Davis-Bacon certified payroll

Your weekly WH-347 in two minutes — not the whole crew typed in again.

Enter your projects, crew, classifications and fringe once. Each week, copy last week, adjust the hours and print the official DOL form (Rev. January 2025) with the Statement of Compliance — overtime, fringe and net pay calculated.

No card for the first report. Then $19 per month or $149 per year (about $12.42/month).

  • ✓Your payroll data never leaves your computer
  • ✓Official WH-347, Rev. January 2025, both pages
  • ✓Overtime at 1.5× base, fringe not multiplied
  • ✓Cash fringe (6C), plan credits (6B) or both
  • ✓Two classifications for one worker
  • ✓CSV import of hours · copy last week

How it works

1. Set up once

Add the project (contract no., location, wage determination number), the labor classifications with base and fringe rates, your fringe plans and your crew (last four digits of SSN only).

2. Each week

Start from last week or import a CSV of hours (worker, date, classification, hours). Fix what changed, enter deductions from your payroll.

3. Print and sign

Download the official WH-347 with page 2 filled in: apprenticeship box, fringe credit table, remarks. Sign by hand or with a valid e-signature and submit.

DOL’s free tool is at dol.gov/agencies/whd/forms/wh347-web. We read its page source (archived May 2026): it has no saving or file import. See our comparison.

Private by design

Certified payroll holds names, ID numbers and pay. WH-347 Kit keeps all of it in your browser’s storage on your computer. The PDF is built on your computer too. Our server only handles the subscription (through Stripe) — it never sees your crew or your numbers.

The flip side: clearing your browser data erases it. Export a backup file from the Account tab now and then; it also moves everything to a new computer.

Built on the official rules

Every calculation follows the DOL’s WH-347 instructions and 29 CFR 5.5(a)(3) and 5.32, with sources and dates listed on How we calculate. We flag straight time over 40 hours, rates below your wage determination, full SSNs and missing apprentice levels — you stay the one who certifies.

Questions

Is this the official WH-347 form?

Yes. The PDF is the official DOL form WH-347 (Rev. January 2025, OMB 1235-0008, expires 01/31/2028), filled in with your numbers. We are not affiliated with the Department of Labor, and the form itself is optional — any format with the same information is accepted.

Where is my payroll data stored?

Only in your browser on your computer. Names, ID numbers, hours and pay are never uploaded to our server. Export a backup file to move to another computer or keep a copy.

Why not just use the free DOL online form?

For a one-off week it is a good free option. It does not keep anything between visits, so each week you type the whole crew, rates and fringe again. WH-347 Kit remembers them, copies last week and imports hours from a spreadsheet.

How is overtime calculated?

At 1.5 times the worker's basic hourly rate (never on a base below the wage determination rate). Fringe benefits — plan credits or cash in lieu — are not multiplied for overtime hours.

What does it cost?

Your first certified payroll report is free, no card. After that, $19 per month or $149 per year (about $12.42/month) for unlimited weeks, projects and workers. Refund your first payment yourself within 14 days if it isn't for you.
