Your payroll data stays on your computer

Everything you type into the app — your business details, projects, workers’ names and identifying numbers, classifications, rates, hours, deductions and remarks — is stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. The WH-347 PDF is generated in your browser. We do not receive, store or have access to this data. If you clear your browser data, it is gone unless you exported a backup file; backup files are saved where you choose and never sent to us.

Subscriptions

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, Stripe collects your email, card and billing details under its own privacy policy; we can see your email, the subscription status and payment history in Stripe, and we use them only to provide the subscription, refunds and support. After checkout we store a signed access key in your browser; when you generate a report the app sends that key (not your payroll data) to our server, which asks Stripe whether the subscription is active.

Analytics

We use PostHog to count page views and product events (for example “report generated”, with counts such as the number of workers — never names, numbers or amounts). Text on the page is masked in automatic click tracking. Analytics requests go through our own domain. Our hosting provider and Cloudflare process standard request logs (IP address, browser) for security.

Cookies and storage

The app uses your browser’s local storage for your data and access key, and PostHog sets an analytics identifier. We don’t sell personal information or use it for advertising.
